Site Analysis is the process of identifying and diagramming individual components of the site as a means to understand the site. These components typically include:

• The movement of the sun around the site.
• The movement of wind on the site.
• The available views from the site.
• The topography or lay of the land, of the site
• Spatial qualities of the site
